As a friendly reminder, the get-well banner for Richard is still hanging outside the SGA office. We have hundreds of signatures already, and that's just my estimation, but I know we have thousands more to go. We're all getting back into the routine of things, so keep in mind you still have until August 15 to say (write?) your piece.
Thanks, Marie Fitzwalter.

Well, gross.
When you're flying in from Paris, the fact that your travel time to the U.S. is about eight hours is a glitch in itself. But now that my flight to Boston won't be getting here for another three hours, I'm just going to pick a corner and set up my fort. Eesh. Internet, you're a shining beacon in my day of rain and delays.
So, hi! Marie Fitzwalter, senior at KU, seriously grateful for the arrival of this blog the staff's set up. I have the feeling I'll be abusing this network (and possibly the italics function, because I'm sort of emphatic like that) all year. Three cheers for the Internet? I freely admit to being a huge fan.
I don't really know how to close this, except that reading through the entries so far, I've realized I'm jealous of all the first years. It's been a fun trip down the undergrad path, but if I had the choice, I would definitely do some of it again. Looking forward to August, and all the same, sad that it's almost here.
And yea verily, the delay commenced. See some of you soon!
Marie.
